Each student is assigned to a counselor. Counselors are available before school, during lunch, or between classes or will call for students at other available times during the school day. Counselors are available to discuss personal and academic issues. We welcome face-to-face parent conferences; however, we request that you schedule them in advance to avoid a long wait. Of course, emergencies do arise, and we do our best to see parents as quickly as possible. Even so, waits can occur due to previously scheduled classroom guidance sessions, meetings and student conferences. Each counselor has voice-mail and e-mail available 24 hours a day. Parents are encouraged to utilize these tools. Please let us know how we can assist you and your student(s) to make the very most of the learning experience here at Stafford MSD.
