African Americans in History
Student projects were displayed in the main hallway during the month of February in celebration of Black History Month.
Mrs. Bennett's reading classes re-created the Dining Salon from the novel they are reading, SOS Titanic, by Eve Bunting, and re-enacted the actions of the characters in that setting.
Ms. Murray's reading classes, along with other 6th grade classes, created "character buddies" for various characters in the novel, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", to demonstrate their knowledge of characterization.
