Flu and other illnesses information
Updated federal guidelines for dealing with outbreaks of the flu, including H1N1 influenza, urge school officials to balance the risk of the flu in the communities with the disruption that school dismissals will cause in education and the wider community.

Recommendation to parents is do not send an ill child to school (vomiting/diarrhea, fever, sever cough, communicable disease, chills). When deemed necessary, the school nurse may recommend that you take your child to the doctor. Take your child to the doctor if symptoms are severe. Fever needs to be clear for 24 hrs. before your child returns to school. More information about the flu and on H1N1 can be found at www.Flu.gov
Amendments to our calendar may be necessary during the year.
