Hello, my name is Mrs. Janet Hill and I am excited about the Science Lab. After a restful vacation in California and Nevada; I am well prepared to meet the Science Lab needs of our 5th and 6th graders. Our students will have opportunities to conduct science investigations as they interact with the scientific method, skills and processes.

*Welcome to the 2009-2010 Interactive Science Lab. Our students will explore the Sciences in an environment filled with interactive, authentic, inquiry-based learning. Students will conduct investigations through hands-on and relevant experiments; an interactive notebook; Science Fair and Club; and technology in the form of webquests, subject samplers, and other multimedias.

To assist students with their interactive learning in the Lab; I will use my training acquired at the Baylor Summer Science Institute; Science lead teacher trainings, as well as, the knowledge and skills acquired through my Masters program. More than that I plan to continue with strategy development and providing a safe environment where students feel free to ask questions and provide answers.
