Welcome to Ms. Griffith's class for 2009-2010. I have taught 5th grade for going on 7 years now. This is my 4th year at Stafford Intermediate School.

My homework policy: Math homework and some Science homework is assigned EVERY NIGHT!! Each student is expected to complete the homework in their journals and bring it to class the next day. Incomplete or no homework will result in study hall at recess to complete the assignment as well as behavior cards marked.

Grading Policy: All grades are weighted the same here at Stafford Intermediate School. The grades I take consist of classwork/homework assignments, tests, and quizzes. The more grades I can take, the better the student's average. That's why homework is SOOOO IMPORTANT!!! However, I don't take grades on assignments until I feel we have covered the concept in class for several days and I am confident the majority of the students will be successful.
