Hello! My name is Ms. Amanda Rubiano and I am the English as a Second Language Teacher at Stafford Intermediate. This is my fourth year teaching and my fourth year at Stafford Intermediate.

I graduated from Mississippi State University in 2003 with dual degrees in Spanish and Marketing. After I graduated from college I was an insurance adjuster for the state of Texas but this was not my passion. In college I had tutored and mentored at several schools in the local area. After realizing that teaching is what I really wanted to do I went to Region IV Alternative Certification Program and earned my teaching certificate in 2006. I was hired on at Stafford Intermediate in 2006 and have loved every minute of it.
At Stafford Intermediate I teach the English as a Second Language students (5th and 6th grades) Reading, Language, and Spelling. My additional responsibilities are Student Council Sponsor and UIL Coach.
